The World Boxing Super Series is delighted to endorse a brand new song written especially for the Muhammad Ali Trophy. Danish rock star Jesper Binzer, who has sold over a million records, has written “The Future is Now” for the revolutionary bracket-style elimination tournament.
“There could not be a more fitting title,” said Kalle Sauerland, Comosa´s Chief Boxing Officer. “The future of boxing starts now with the World Boxing Super Series where the best fight the best. We are thrilled to work with Jesper and we are proud that he has come up with this masterpiece for the Muhammad Ali Trophy. We look forward to presenting the song, on Saturday and adding it as a part of the World Boxing Super Series story.”
Binzer, who remains a part of the famous Danish rock band D-A-D, made the song as part of a solo project. “I know one of the tournament organizers and when he told me about the World Boxing Super Series project it just struck me,” said Binzer. “I always had a song in my head about facing the future with gloves on and that the future is now. For all those world champions and challengers in the tournament the future definitely is now, so I am glad I can contribute to this fun and exciting tournament.”

The full song as well as a making-of video will be available to watch on the World Boxing Super Series Facebook Page and also at www.WorldBoxingSuperSeries.com tomorrow morning. “The Future is Now” will be featured this Saturday in Monaco when all 16 star boxers come face-to-face for the Draft Gala. In a 50-minute live TV show, the four top seeded boxers will select their opponents from the unseeded boxers. The Draft Gala will be broadcasted in multiple territories and also be streamed live on www.WorldBoxingSuperSeries.com. Starting in September, eight elite super-middleweights and eight elite cruiserweights, including all four world champions, will then battle it out in a KO tournament, with the winners taking home the Muhammad Ali Trophy, The Greatest Prize in Boxing.
